NOTES: The previously gazetted speed limit for Okauia Springs Road of 80km/hr was extended by 340m to extend 150m west of Silk Road, including Silk Road. This developed area was not previously gazetted. The appropriate speed limit for these streets is 80 km/hr. The roads were rated in terms of the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003.
The Matamata-Piako District Council Land Transport Bylaw 2008 is the legal instrument to bring this into law

The previously gazetted speed limit for Station Road of 100km/hr from 150m west of Sheffield Road for a length of 800m, was changed to a speed limit of 80km/hr. The road was rated in terms of the Land Transport Rule:Setting of Speed Limits 2003.
The previously gazetted speed limit for Peria Road of 100km/hr from 130m west of Manuka Street for a length of 800m, was changed to a speed limit of 80km/hr.The road was rated in terms of the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003.
The Matamata-Piako District Council Land Transport Bylaw 2008 is the legal instrument to bring this change into law.
