The roads or areas described in this schedule or as shown on a map referenced in this schedule are declared  to have a variable speed limit of 40 km/hr.

NOTES:
The previously gazetted speed limit for Stanley Avenue of 50km/hr has been changed to a variable limit of 40km/hr commencing from 30m, southeast of Ritchie Street and extending southeast for a length of 460m. The Speed limit is 40 km/hr and applies 8:25am to 9:00am and 2:55pm to 3:15pm, school days only.

The previously gazetted speed limit for Hohaia Street of 50km/hr has been changed to a variable limit of 40km/hr commencing from Broadway (State Highway 24) and ending at the north side of Tawa Street. The Speed limit is 40km/hr and applies 8:25am to 9:00am and 2:50pm to 3:20pm   school days only.  

The Matamata-Piako District Council Land Transport Bylaw 2008 is the legal instrument to bring this change into law.
