Trades, Manufacturing and Primary Industries - Businesses operating in the trades, manufacturing, engineering, building, rural or primary industries.
Consumer Services - Businesses in the retail, tourism and hospitality industries.
Professional Services - Businesses whose principal activity is the provision of services (including but not limited to legal, real estate, medical and financial services).
New and Emerging Business - Business that has achieved significant growth during that last one to three years as a result of effective planning and delivery. The business must have started trading after 31 March 2015.
New for 2018 - Introducing the Bayleys Supreme Business Award, this award recognises the judges top pick form all categories and winners!
This year's expert judging panel includes representatives from the three local business associations/Chamber of Commerce, Peter Davey from Waikato Innovation Park, Peter Maxwell from Management Consultant, and Adam Glenister BNZ Business Partner.
