The Matamata Sports Centre is a sports facility located in the heart of Matamata. Inside the Sports Centre is the Fitzone Gym, squash courts and a range of pools. With something for everyone, it’s a place the whole family can enjoy some fun leisure time or have a work out in the pool.
Council runs the pools including heated indoor pool, spa pool, sauna, and a plunge pool, and in the summer months, an outdoor pool, toddler pool and dive pool.
Matamata Sports Centre is also home to the Matamata Squash Club
