TAB venues are independent locations owned or leased by TAB NZ, where the primary activity is racing and/or sports betting. TAB betting is governed by the Racing Industry Act 2020 and regulated by the DIA.​

​At present, there are no TAB venues in the district; however, should TAB wish to establish a standalone venue, they must obtain consent from the Council.
