There are two people in my house. We produce a shopping bag of rubbish a week. Proposing a $300 increase is a rip off. You are effectively asking me to fund other peoples rubbish collection. It should be up to the house to dispose of rubbish. Put collection stations around Morrinsville for the different streams and have the residents take there rubbish themselves. I believe your current proposal is another example of tax gathering. Either that or poorly thought through.
