Please note: if you're on the Māori electoral roll there is no election required for Te Toa Horopū ā Matamata-Piako (Māori Ward) as the number of candidates standing for this election was not more than the number of vacancies. This means that Gary Thompson is elected unopposed for Matamata-Piako. However, you will still be able to vote for Mayor, and whether to keep or remove the Māori Ward.
