This reserve is located at the end of Kahikatea Crescent in Matamata.

It consists of a long and narrow grassed area and features an extensive native planting undertaken during 1996. The reserve creates a 'buffer zone', screening out the developing industrial area from the residential area and serves as an overland flow path for stormwater during heavy rainfall events.
