Amount of water: MPDC take up to 120m3 per day or 120,000 liters from the two bores.
Population: As at Feb 2019 MPDC supplied water to 35 properties from two bores.
Number of samples taken: 93 compliance related samples for bacterial compliance
(7 more samples than the Drinking Water Standards NZ requires) – no E.coli detected in the samples.
What we achieved:

Why we didn't achieve compliance:
|
- Missing some data from our online instruments
- The UV strength being below the required level
in some of the samples obtained.
- The required amount of UV manual samples not obtained during some weeks

How we're addressing it:
|
- We are upgrading our communication network between instruments at the treatment plant and our IT systems so that data cannot go missing.
- Improving internal processes to ensure the required number of UV manual samples are taken.
