Full description of idea:

I think as a small town we fall short in recreational activities. As Morrinsville is growing so fast, esp with Lockerbie underway, a lot of us, especially those with children, have to currently travel outside to enjoy a better variety of recreational activities.

These include but not limited to: more and/or an upgrade in playgrounds, a scooter/skate/bike park, a water park of sorts/hot pools, dog parks, more cycle/walking tracks

How this idea will benefit the community:

It will hopefully bring more people here but also allow the locals to get out more and enjoy what we have to offer locally.

It’ll be nice to have a bit more choice in our hometown! It will also help beautify the community.
