Full description of idea:

As part of the Waharoa Business Park development a modern refuse incinerator may be built to take all the refuse from the North Island. Contributing councils / users could be charged for the service. The railhub is in place. All refuse would be placed directly into the incinerator feed undercover. No visible refuse or smell.
Modern incinerators have scrubbers & other controls so little to no emissions.
The energy created from the incineration process could be used to generate electricity thus closing the energy cycle

How this idea will benefit the community:

Costs are recovered by charging users & money is generated from selling electricity.
Closure of landfills = no landfil gas & reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.
Overall better environmental quality
