Full description of idea:

Te Aroha should hold a Steampunk Festival along the lines of the Oamaru & Thames festivals which includes such events as a parade, steampunk ball & fashion show.. With Te Aroha's Victorian buildings in the domain this would be the perfect backdrop for such a festival.

How this idea will benefit the community:

The festival would bring in a lot of visitors to Te Aroha to boost the local economy & would also put Te Aroha on the map for many as a place to visit.
