7.    Key Council Policies and Plans


The Council has overall responsibility for the proper direction and control of the Council’s activities in pursuit of community outcomes. This responsibility includes formulating:

  • the Long Term Plan (LTP);
  • the District Plan;
  • the Annual Plan;
  • the Annual Report; and
  • other Council Policies.
