Industry Training Graduation

Council acknowledged the success of industry graduates at the Industry Training Graduation held at Power Farming, Morrinsville on Friday, 27 April. Matamata-Piako District Council is a member of the Mayors Taskforce for Jobs, a national initiative to encourage employment or training for people in New Zealand. The Mayors Taskforce for Jobs Industry Training Graduation is held annually to recognise the importance of industry training qualifications and to celebrate the success of those who have chosen to become skilled in their profession.

Ryan Tesselaar (Waikato Registered Master Builders Carters Apprentice of the Year in 2016), inspired with his stories and experiences as a recent building apprentice. Graduates were then presented a certificate in recognition of their achievement.

Congratulations to all graduates and a big thanks to Power Farming for the use of their venue.

The next Industry Training Graduation will take place in 2019.
