Full description of idea:

As with other similar tourist towns ie Taupo Tauranga Rotorua my idea would be it invest in a mini golf complex
18 holes. Laid out in a relatively small area
This could be indoors or outdoors depending on availability and location to the town centre ideally close to the new and sometimes busy cycle way rail side is very central and has the benefit of toilets

How this idea will benefit the community:

With mini golf highlighted in the media recently nows the time to jump on the band wagon and publicise our great towns
The introduction of MiniGolf will attract people not only tourist but locals and out of Towner to come and partake in this fun sport
Having enjoyed the experience they could be enticed into using the many and varied eating establishments we have to offer
We could use the skills and knowledge of our college design students and local trades could construct
