Hannah Roberts of Walton entered the annual Paw Print colouring competition and her keen skills and eye for detail won her family a one year free dog registration.

Hannah’s entry was selected by Mayor Ash Tanner from over 100 entries to the competition – which not only earned her the top prize – but also a visit from Mayor Ash and a goodie bag. Nika, the family pet got pretty excited with all the attention but managed to sit still long enough for a photo with Hannah and Mayor Ash. We think Nika looks pretty smashing in her blue tag.

While there could be only one winner, Mayor Ash selected the following artists as highly commended:

Esme Foster (age 11 – Matamata)

Indi Hill (age 7 – Matamata)

Saskia Koch (age 2 – Te Aroha)
