From panic to preparedness: how to be ready when (natural) disasters strike.

If recent earthquakes and rain events caught you off guard, join Waikato Emergency Management Officer Loren Molloy who will share how to get ready for the unexpected. Come along to hear the role individuals, community members and councils play to ensure everyone has the best chance if/when a natural disaster strikes our district. Loren brings a wealth of experience from her leadership role in the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) including a five-year deployment overseas and has local emergency management knowledge. Come along and hear helpful nuggets about the power of a prepared community.
