Both reservoirs are now over half full. The small reservoir at the water treatment plant is 85.7% full, and the large one (8000m3) at Mount Misery is 52.9% full.

We are continuing to monitor the water network and while there is no evidence of contamination we are still advising residents to boil their tap water as a precaution, following low chlorine levels at some of our water testing sites around Morrinsville. Tanker water is available and doesn't need to be boiled - as long as your water container is clean.

Please remember to bring your own clean container. You are welcome to fill containers for family or neighbours who can’t do this themselves. If you have family in Morrinsville who can’t visit the tankers to collect water and have no one to help them, call us on 0800 746 467. This also applies if you are currently isolating due to Covid-19.
