Updated policies and bylaws

Recently, we invited community feedback on the following draft documents:

  • Fees and Charges 2025/26
  • Dangerous and Insanitary Buildings Policy
  • Gambling Venue Policy
  • TAB Venue Policy
  • Alcohol Licensing Fees Bylaw
  • Cemeteries Bylaw
  • Community Safety Bylaw

We received 72 submissions in total across all topics.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to provide us with your feedback and suggestions. All submissions were considered and your feedback helps to shape the future direction of our district.

Consultation was open from 27 February until 13 April 2025. A hearing was held on 7 May 2025 where submitters could choose to present their submission to Council in person. At this meeting, Council considered all submissions received. Following deliberations, Council adopted the final documents.
