4.6 Buildings not Requiring Building Consent

4.6 BUILDINGS NOT REQUIRING BUILDING CONSENT

With regard to any detached building or structure not requiring a Building Consent under the Third Schedule of the Building Act, such buildings shall:

  1. Be sited at least 1.0 metres from any boundary;
  2. Not be sited between the front boundary and any residential building; and
  3. Be limited to one such building per Certificate of Title.

Explanation

The District Plan rules are intended to reduce the incidence of incompatible activities.
