Fees and Charges

We review our fees and charges every year alongside our Annual Plan or Long Term Plan. This ensures fees and charges are kept up to date and reflect actual/reasonable costs and helps ensure new costs or processes are also covered. 

We're proposing changes to a number of fees and charges and want to hear what you think. Council will consider submissions on the Fees and Charges alongside submissions to the Long Term Plan, and will adopt a final set of Fees and Charges in May or June, to become effective on 1 July. 

The Statement of Proposal below includes a summary of the key changes and why they are being proposed. The Proposed Fees and Charges documents lists all the proposed fees and charges in full for 2021/22.
